Compass CHC are a company who specialise exclusively in NHS Continuing Healthcare Funding matters. They do nothing else and have done nothing else since their inception ten years ago.  In that time they have assisted thousands of clients and provide a free, no obligation advice service where they answer questions on Continuing Healthcare Funding issues to hundreds of people every week.

They are truly experts in their field and they are the largest specialist provider of Continuing Healthcare Funding expertise in the UK.  They employ over 70 individuals with expertise that ranges from qualified non-practicing solicitors to consultant medical experts including a neurologist, pharmacist and GP.

Consumer Duty Alliance Financial Vulnerability Taskforce Member

Launched in October 2021, The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce (FVT) is an independent representative body covering the retail finance sector. Its ultimate purpose is to promote greater understanding, encourage appropriate behaviours and establish good practice in respect of consumer vulnerability.

It focuses specifically on vulnerability and forms a key part of the Consumer Duty Alliance Code of Professional Standards. It was produced as a standalone document to reflect the importance of vulnerability, originally specific to financial planning, then revised it in January 2024 to make it relevant to the retail finance, legal and accountancy professions.

Consumer Duty Alliance

The Consumer Duty Alliance will adopt an independent leadership role for all aspects of Consumer Duty and is keen to work with all stakeholders across the retail finance sector.

Whereas Individual Membership and Associate Firm Membership is for client-facing practitioners and back-office support staff, the Alliance has created an Affiliate scheme for relevant networks, professional/trade bodies, product providers, fund management groups, technology providers and other service providers. 

Affiliate organisations will play a key role in enabling the Alliance to develop shared Consumer Duty understanding, identify collaborative working opportunities and help raise standards across the sector.
